Activities of Therability s.r.l.
Therability s.r.l. is a company that designs, manufactures and markets physical and digital games.
Holder of the treatment
The Data Controller is: Therability S.r.l., based in Turin, C.so Regio Parco 15.
Data processing
The processing of data by the Data Controller is based on the execution of the sales contract with the user, except for the need for his explicit consent for some specific treatments, and takes place at the headquarters of the Data Controller and is carried out by the administrators, by the staff. employee and collaborators who will be in charge of processing, by data processors such as suppliers of administrative, accounting, legal consulting services, suppliers of other services such as, by way of example and not limited to, service providers, farm servers, web agencies, public relations and promotion.
Types of data processed
The e-commerce platform on the therability.toys site, connected with the Stripe payment platform (www.stripe.com), allows the online purchase of games and processes the following user data:
- identification data: name, surname, country, residential address, postcode;
- contact details: e-mail;
- payment details: credit card number, validity date, CVC code.
Purpose of the processing
The data, as identified in the previous point, may be processed by the Data Controller for the following purposes:
- to fulfill the obligations arising from the contract with the user;
- to send information to the user about their products or services and about available news (so-called marketing activities);
- for the profiling of users, also in an automated way, with the aim of offering new and even different products or services.
Optional supply of data
All the required data are essential for the purpose of providing the service offered. If the user decides not to provide their data on the platform, the sales contract cannot be fulfilled.
Processing methods
The data will be:
- collected electronically;
- registered in digital format on the cloud server;
- processed, in an automated manner, for the forwarding and receipt of e-mail messages;
- used for the purpose of protecting them from the risks of destruction, modification, cancellation and unauthorized access by means of efficient physical, logical and organizational security measures;
- further processed by the Data Controller, or by subjects delegated by the same, also in paper form, to the extent and within the time strictly necessary to implement the purposes indicated above.
Data retention
The user’s data will be stored in a form that allows their identification for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed.
User rights
The interested party has the right of access, cancellation, rectification, portability and opposition, as defined by EU Regulation 2016/679 and by Italian law.
These rights may be exercised by written request sent, without any formalities, to the e-mail address info@therability.toys or to the company headquarters.
Therability s.r.l. will check the user’s request without undue delay and, in any case, within the terms of the law.
